Rare are the places in the United States where a graffiti artist can paint on public property without getting in trouble. Calwa is home to one such place! Artists from throughout the country travel to Calwa to share their art with a community that respects and appreciates it.
For a small fee of $15-$40 depending on the wall size, you get can paint on 8-17 foot section of the wall. It stays up until all the other spots on the wall that were painted before it are painted over, and minimum of 2 weeks. Artist agree that they cannot paint anything that promotes drugs, violence, and sexual images. Artist will void their agreement if smoking or alcohol use is present while artist works.
Calwa Recreation and Park District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
